The 7th grade class participated in World Day today at EMS today. It was fun to see everything the students have been learning.





The EMS track team confided their regular season schedule by hosting 4 other school today at EHS. They will travel to Pontiac on Saturday to compete in sectionals.





Mr. Wyland and his band students performed Friday night at EMS. All groups sounded great in front of a packed house. Thank you, Mr. Wyland and band members.





Mr. Walker and his 7th and 8th grade chorus performed tonight at EHS. Great job, singers!




The EMS students always enjoy the Adventure Ed PE unit. Thank you, Mrs. Hoelscher, Mr. Bellini, and Mr. Bane for organizing this.

A few students enjoying their ice cream treats they won for having the best NCAA bracket this year. Thank you, PTO for organizing that event.

Turned out to be a perfect day for a track meet. The EMS track teams traveled to Metamora tonight. Good job, Hornets!


Mr. Wyland and the EMS jazz band performed at the Spring Fling in downtown Peoria today.





Mr. Wyland took his jazz band to Goodfield and Congerville to play a few songs for some elementary students this afternoon. Thanks you, Goodfield and Congerville for being such gracious hosts.


The EMS faculty played in the Fight for Life volleyball game this afternoon. The WHITE team came out on top. Thank you to all who supported the cause.






The EMS scholastic bowl teams took on Pekin Broadmoor tonight at EMS. They split the two matches. Good work, Hornets.


The EMS 8th grade volleyball team defeated Monmouth United 25-15, 25-17 to win the sectional and advance to the IESA state tournament on Friday to take on Staunton at 5:45 pm in Pana.










The EMS PTO put on a Glow Night on Saturday night. A HUGE thank you to the PTO and all the parents who helped in some way. The students love it.










The EMS scholastic bowl team traveled to Germantown Hills to take on the Warriors. A team won 265-205. The B team lost 215-145. Good effort, Hornets!
EMS 8th grade volleyball team defeats Metamora tonight to win the regional championship. They won, 25-14, 19-25, 25-23. Good job, players and coaches!









The EMS 8th grade volleyball team defeated Chillicothe on Tuesday night in 3 sets. They advance to the regional championship game tonight at 5:30 in Metamora against Metamora. Good luck, ladies.








The EMS 6th Grade honor band performed at ISU yesterday. Good work, Mr. Wyland and band members.



The EMS state qualifiers wrestled on Friday and Saturday. No medals were won, but they competed hard and represented Eureka well. Good season, wrestlers and coaches.


The EMS 8th grade volleyball team defeated Williamsfield today in regional play. They won in 2, 25-6, 25-20.
