
The EMS band and chorus students put on a show tonight at EHS.











The EMS volleyball teams completed their regular season this week on the road at Olympia and Dee Mack. The 7th grade come up short. The 8th grade won both. The 7th grade begins postseason play tomorrow morning at Germantown Hills. Good luck, Hornets!









The EMS band went on a field trip and performed at the IGSMA last week. Good work, band members and Mr. Wyland.

The Future Innovators class had some fun making some slime last week.




Eureka Middle School hosted the wrestling regional today. Seven wrestlers advanced to the sectional. Good job, athletes and coaches.









The 3D art class went to lower lake to test out the sleds they created out of cardboard. Well done, Mrs. Bradford and students.

The EMS scholastic bowl team kicked off the season tonight hosting D50. They won the first match 155-70. They lost the second match 170-165 on the last question. Good job, Hornets.

EMS celebrated the 7th grade boys basketball state championship today by escorting them with fire trucks past Davenport and EHS. After the escort we celebrated their victory with an assembly where Coach Heider and players spoke. Congratulations, guys. Keep working hard.



State Champions! 29-0. I will have to check with the Eureka Middle School’s SID (Coach Gerdes) but I believe that is the first undefeated boys basketball team in school history. Congrats, gentlemen.

On to the championship. Eureka 7th grade boys defeat East St. Louis 43-30 to advance to the championship on Thursday at EPG High School. See you there.

To experience life on the Oregon Trail, students in Mrs. Ogg's class played the Oregon Trail card game. Many left on the trail, and few made it there alive.
